Swan Hellenic boosts 2027 programme of cultural expeditions


Swan Hellenic has doubled its range of cultural expeditions for 2027, following the success of its first Asia-Pacific sailings last year. The operator has scheduled


10 cultural expedition voyages on 152-passenger ship SH Minerva between March and October. Destinations include Vanuatu,


New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Japan, the Philippines, South Korea and Indonesia, including Raja Ampat. They include two New Zealand

Jet2holidays has expanded its Jet2Weddings programme to six more destinations following the success of its Cyprus and Greece offering. Independent agents can now offer weddings through


Jet2holidays and Perfect Weddings Abroad in Turkey, Portugal, Lanzarote, Italy, Malta and Santorini. The expansion means the partners now offer 84


wedding locations across seven countries. Jet2holidays provides the flights, hotel and transfers,


while Perfect Weddings Abroad takes care of the wedding arrangements. The new locations are Antalya and Dalaman in


Turkey; the Algarve in Portugal; Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca and Puerto Calero in Lanzarote; Sorrento in Italy; St Julian’s in Malta; and Vourvoulos and Megalochori in Santorini.


Ambassador offers Port of Tyne sailings in August and September


Ambassador Cruise Line is offering five cruises on Ambition from Port of Tyne between August and September. A highlighted sailing is the four-night Decks & Decades themed cruise celebrating the 1970s, 80s and 90s, departing on September 22 and priced from £719. Wizz Air boosts Luton network with three winter links to Spain


Wizz Air has added three Spanish destinations to its winter network from Luton Airport. The carrier will serve Malaga four times a week, Granada twice-weekly and Asturias three times a week from October. It recently started a twice- weekly service from Luton to Yerevan in Armenia. wizzair.com


Marella tunes up for a country music-themed sailing in 2027


Marella Cruises will operate a Country Rhythms cruise in 2027, with a choice of two durations. The itinerary features a barn dance bash, country music shows and line-dancing classes.
