More than 650 people gather in London for T


he 2026 Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards saw more than 650 industry


guests gather at the Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge hotel for the ultimate celebration of the UK’s frontline travel trade. Hosted by editor-in-chief Lucy


Huxley alongside media personality and entrepreneur Jamie Laing, the gala evening – headline sponsored by Celebrity Cruises and Virgin Atlantic – featured a performance by M People star Heather Small and a number of trade giveaways, including a £25,000 car won by Hays Travel agent Lucy Taylor as part of a Newmarket Holidays incentive. Tempest-Mitchell and Henbury Travel owner Richard Slater, who both said they were honoured to earn the accolade. Coveted individual awards


included Leisure Agent of the Year, which was won in the high street category by Craig Barton of Barrhead Travel, and in the home-based and call centre category by Emma Parry-Torpe of Designer Travel. Other individual honours


included Leisure Manager of the Year, won by Sarah Jones of Iglu Cruise; Young Leisure Agent of the Year, won by Beverley Travel’s Lilly Wilson; and Agency Support Team Member of the Year, won by Charlie Brown from Oasis Travel. Multiple award winners included Hays Travel, which won the Large

Agency Branch of the Year award, which was won by Travel by Hannah in Marlborough, while specialist agency Vetseters was named the 2026 One to Watch. Workplace excellence was celebrated as Inspire Europe,


ROL Cruise and Holidays by Design (Cleethorpes/Brigg) took home the trophies for the best large, medium and small agencies to work for. Te co-headline sponsors used


the evening to unveil their Quid Quest agent incentive, with trade partners set to batle it out over a series of challenges this year to win a £20,000 and a cruise for the winner and five friends. Ten AAAs guests won wildcard spots that will fast-track them into the final round of challenges. Huxley said: “Te Agent
