Royal Caribbean to operate three ships in Alaska in 2020
Royal Caribbean International has released its 2020 Alasa summer programme, which includes three ships for the first time. Quantum-class vessel Ovation
of the Seas will sail seven-night itineraries from Seattle, Washington, and call at Juneau and Sagway in Alasa and ictoria in Canada. The Alasa Glacier itinerary departing on May 22,
2020, leads in at 1,40. Serenade of the Seas will
reposition from the southern Caribbean to ancouver and will sail seven-night and five-night itineraries, calling at etchian, uneau and Icy Point, Alasa. The five-night Alasa Getaway

sailing leads in at 1,200. Radiance of the Seas will offer
seven-night itineraries between ancouver and Seward, Alasa. The orthbound Alasa Hubbard Glacier sailing from ancouver leads in at 1,10. Demand for the destination
encouraged Royal Caribbean to bring forward the release date
from March.

The American Queen Steamboat Company is to add a fourth ship in 2020.
The US river cruise line is
expanding its fleet with the 245-passenger American Countess, formerly the Kanesville Queen. The vessel, which will operate on the Mississippi River, is being converted at the Gulf Island Shipyard in Houma, Louisiana, with a 60-foot midsection being added to increase capacity.
