Ponant showcases six new itineraries in 2019 range

Ponant has introduced six new itineraries with the launch of its Summer 2019 brochure.
The programme features about
100 sailings between April and November on board the operator’s nine vessels. The new sailings offer ports of
call in Greenland, North America and Central America. They include a 15-day
Greenland of Great Explorers sailing along the country’s Blosseville Coast, with shore visits in Zodiacs with guides, and free parka and boot hire. Prices for a departure on July 12,
2019, start at €11,480. Also new is a Great Lakes of
North America itinerary. The 11-day sailing takes in Lake Michigan, Lake Huron and Lake

Explorer-class ships is due in the first and second quarters of 2020. The cruise line revealed in December that it had ordered the first electric cruise icebreaker
powered by liquefied natural gas.

Riviera adds new stop in Kinderdijk and four extra winter cruises
Riviera Travel has put its 2019 river cruise programme on sale including a new destination and four extra winter itineraries. The village Kinderdijk in the Netherlands has joined the operator’s portfolio for the first time. The five-day Amsterdam, Kinderdijk & the Dutch Bulbfields cruise has already sold out for this winter, but departures for 2019 start from £699. Prices include return flights
from 15 regional airports or travel on Eurostar, four nights’ full-board accommodation in a luxury cabin or suite, and transfers.
