Royal reveals 2019 ex-UK cruises from Southampton

Royal Caribbean International has released details of its 2019 ex-UK sailings for Independence of the Seas and Explorer of the Seas.


Both ships will operate 17 European itineraries out of


Southampton from May 2019. Independence of the Seas,


which has recently undergone a multimillion-pound makeover, will feature new family facilities including trampoline experience Sky Pad; Splashaway Bay, an interactive water park; and glow-in-the-dark Laser Tag arena. Prices for the 14-night Italian Mediterranean sailing on Independence, departing on June 15, 2019, start at £1,148. Ports of call include Gibraltar, Florence, Rome (Civitavecchia), Cagliari and Cadiz.


The lead-in price for Independence’s seven-night Northern European Cityscapes sailing, departing on May 18, 2019, is £651. Ports of call include
