EasyJet to launch Aberdeen-Belfast service in January


EasyJet has unveiled a new winter service between Aberdeen and Belfast International, alongside fresh European routes from Luton and Bristol. The twice-weekly flights


between Scotland and Northern Ireland will operate on Mondays and Fridays from January 4, with one-way fares from £21.99. Package breaks via easyJet holidays are available with a £60 deposit. Belfast becomes easyJet’s


fifth destination from Aberdeen, joining Gatwick, Luton, Geneva and Paris Charles de Gaulle. The budget carrier is also


expanding elsewhere, adding Strasbourg in France from Bristol on November 20 and Pristina in Kosovo from London Luton on December 7. easyjet.com

Jet2 expands ski routes plus Jersey links for next summer

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have expanded their networks with new summer and ski services from Stansted, Bournemouth and Glasgow airports, alongside a major capacity boost for Jersey. For winter 2026-27, Jet2.com has added weekly


Saturday flights from Stansted to Innsbruck, adding 6,000 ski seats to its winter line-up. Operating from December 19 to April 10, the route joins existing Stansted ski links to Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble and Salzburg, contributing to a 30% expansion in the operator’s winter sports programme across its bases. Additionally, Jet2.com has put its winter 2027-28 ski


EasyJet: new routes


flights to Geneva on sale early from Glasgow Airport, operating weekly Saturday services from mid-December. Meanwhile, Jet2 has put more summer 2027 routes


on sale, introducing new three-times-a-week flights between Stansted and Jersey.


Involved Holidays introduces departures from Newquay

The island becomes Stansted’s 55th route for


summer 2027, joining previously announced additions including Paris, Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh, taking capacity at the Essex hub past 2.4 million seats. Bournemouth Airport will also see its largest-ever


summer programme in 2027, featuring 22 routes and more than 320,000 seats – an 8% rise in capacity on summer 2026. New links include twice-weekly Paris flights and weekly services to Jersey and Verona. The expansions represent a trebling of Jet2’s capacity


to Jersey compared with this summer, with five new routes taking its total to eight. Chief executive Steve Heapy said: “We are delighted


to be expanding our summer 2027 programmes from Bournemouth Airport and London Stansted Airport, as well as to Jersey.” To support the launch, Jet2holidays has introduced
