Sanctuary Retreats to refit one of its Nile river vessels
Boutique operator Sanctuary Retreats is to revamp one of its vessels operating on the Nile. All 32 cabins on board Sanctuary Nile Adventurer will be restyled, and a spa and gym will be installed. The ship will resume three and four-night itineraries between Luxor and Aswan in September.

Quark Expeditions to launch new ship Ultramarine next year
Polar cruise specialist Quark Expeditions has revealed the name of its new vessel, scheduled to launch in late 2020. Ultramarine will have two twin-engine helicopters on two ‘heli-decks’ and 20 Zodiacs on board. The vessel will be able to sail for up to 70 days before refuelling. Ultramarine’s debut Antarctic 2020-21 programme will go on sale this summer.

A-Rosa launches five-module online training course
A-Rosa has launched an online training programme for UK agents, aimed at building knowledge of the brand’s key selling points. Te programme features five
modules: river cruise advantages and the A-Rosa story; what A-Rosa offers and a typical day on board; destinations, itineraries and international fleet; key USPs; and how to book.
At the end of each module,
agents must correctly answer a set of questions before they can proceed to the next stage. Te final module gives details
of tour operator partners through which agents can book, including Newmarket Holidays, Shearings Holidays, Saga Holidays and Titan Travel. A-Rosa will enter every agent
who completes the course into a prize draw to win a five-night cruise on the Seine for two people. Two places on an A-Rosa educational will also be offered. In addition, agents who
complete the course before June 20 will be entered into a daily draw to win a £40 voucher of their choice.
