Tall-ship cruise line Star Clippers is incentivising agents with prizes ranging from £200 Eurostar and wine vouchers to a team night out and a spa day. Agents who make a booking


by February 3 for any sailing departing before October 2024 will be automatically entered into a draw, with weekly winners announced on social media. The line, represented in the


UK by Fred Olsen Travel, is encouraging agents to ‘like’ Star Clippers’ trade Facebook page for the latest information and updates on the campaign. The operator runs a fleet of

Ponant adds four sailings in Europe to summer 2024 range

Ponant has added four sailings in the Mediterranean, Atlantic and northern Europe to its range for summer 2024, which is now on sale. The French cruise line is offering 28 voyages to


Mediterranean destinations and 22 in northern Europe and the Atlantic. New cruises include Islands and Cities of the


Mediterranean, and Landscapes and Cultures of the Adriatic, both on Le Bougainville. The seven-night Mediterranean cruise from Athens


to Malta visits destinations such as Paros, Hydra, Pylos and Taormina. Prices start from £3,400. The Adriatic itinerary is a round-trip seven-night


sailing from Venice, visiting Croatian ports such as Rovinj, Primosten, Split, Hvar, Brac and Pula, plus the Slovenian city of Piran. Prices lead in at £3,400.


Another new southern European cruise is The


Mediterranean: In the Footsteps of the Great Civilizations, a 10-night sailing from Valletta in Malta to Antalya in Turkey on L’Austral, with prices from £4,310. The new British Archipelagos and Celtic Shores


sailing departs from the French port of Saint-Malo, and visits the Channel Islands, Dartmouth, Isles of Scilly and three Irish ports – Bantry, Cobh and Dublin. There are two departures, on April 27 and May 2, 2024. In northern Europe, another highlight of the


programme includes Cultural Treasures and Scandinavian Panoramas, an 11-night sailing on Le Dumont-d’Urville. It sails from Edinburgh to Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands and on to Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The lead-in price is £6,920. Ponant is due to reveal its itineraries in Asia for
