Happy New Year! Despite current economic gloom, there appear to be some really encouraging signs ahead of Summer 2023, with pollsters saying people still want to fly abroad for their holidays.
Sixth-based: Ryanair aircraft
This is great news as we have significant growth coming in Summer 2023: a 14th-based Jet2 aircraft, a sixth-based Ryanair aircraft and the largest-ever easyJet programme. New BHX routes include Santander, Billund, Toulouse, Stockholm, Milan, Lisbon, Pisa and Nice. Aegean Airlines are back on Athens. Air France are now at four times daily. Vueling are now five per week on Paris too. There’ll be more exciting route news soon. Watch this space.

HAL unveils Arctic Circle itinerary in Alaska 2024 range

Holland America Line has unveiled its 2024 Alaska programme, featuring a new 28-day Arctic Circle itinerary on Westerdam. The cruise from Seattle departs
on June 9 in time for the summer solstice and includes 12 Alaskan ports. Prices start from £5,669. Two 14-day Great Alaskan
