NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE

Now is the time to plan ahead for 2021, which is gearing up to be the year of travel, as we make up for lost holiday time, and NCL is seeing strong bookings. Europe and the Mediterranean are leading cruise destinations for NCL. The cruise line is seeing a definite upswing in interest for closer-to-home sailings with a Greek Isles and Italy cruise its current best-seller.

NCL has long been innovating and changing the face of holidays at sea. Its Free at Sea offer is no exception, giving your customers the opportunity to add two extra benefits from only £99 per person (seven to nine nights) to create a bespoke cruise holiday experience - the ultimate freedom, flexibility and choice.

WHAT’S NEW?

On December 1, NCL launched NCL Air, a revolutionary platform for fly-cruise bookings, which is now available in the UK and continental Europe. This user-friendly system offers travel agent partners

real-time access to current pricing on flights from gateways across the UK to ports around the world. Agents can receive standard commission, plus access to exclusive NCL-contracted fares, easy upgrades and full Atol and Abta protection.

NCL is gearing up to launch its first Leonardo-class ship in 2022. The cruise line’s Sail Safe initiatives will be implemented on board all ships when sailing resumes, using a new air filtration system, increased sanitation, enhanced screening and responsible social distancing to ensure guests can enjoy award-winning entertainment, fine dining and more.

TRAVEL AGENT PORTAL

This week NCL launched NORWEGIAN CENTRAL, your exclusive, easy-access trade portal for everything NCL. Agents simply need to log in with their Seaweb credentials and access everything they need, from the latest news and promotions to asset toolkits that will bring marketing communications to life.

Highlights include the interactive NCLU training

programme, downloadable marketing materials and single sign-in access to the line’s user-friendly booking engine Seawebagents.ncl.com. You can also join NCL’s Facebook group for travel partners by searching for ‘Partners First – NCL UK and Ireland’, where

you’ll find the latest promotions, competitions and training. norwegiancentral.com ukpartnershiprelations@ncl.com

Be Free at Sea WHAT’S ON SALE?

Earlier this year, NCL released a series of Extraordinary Journeys, which are longer, port-rich itineraries. From a 22-day African Safari and Seychelles voyage on Norwegian Dawn to an 11-day cruise to Iceland, Norway & Scotland ex-Southampton, these expeditions have guests globetrotting to some of the most-desired destinations on Earth.

Having announced summer 2023 itineraries, holidaymakers have even more choice. Itineraries include firsts, such as a stop at Nessebar, Bulgaria, on Norwegian Jade’s Mediterranean and Black Sea cruise and the debut of Norwegian Bliss at the Royal Naval Dockyard during a round-trip to Bermuda from New York. This is the earliest NCL has ever launched itineraries, and it is seeing huge demand for 2022 and 2023.
