Royal Caribbean to deploy seven ships in Europe in 2022

Royal Caribbean International will have seven ships in Europe for summer 2022, one more than in 2021. Anthem of the Seas will sail out


of Southampton for the second consecutive year from May 2022. Seven-night Norwegian coastline cruises include the fjords, while 12-night Iberian Peninsula sailings call at Vigo, Spain; Lisbon and Madeira, Portugal; as well as


Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Tenerife in the Canary Islands. A 14-night Mediterranean


itinerary includes Nice, France; Naples, Italy; Barcelona, Malaga and Ibiza, Spain; and Lisbon, Portugal. Royal’s newest ship – Quantum-


class Odyssey of the Seas, which was floated out in Germany last week – will be based in Rome, from where it will sail seven and nine-night cruises to the Greek Isles and Turkey, and 12-night Holy Land sailings. Brilliance of the Seas


will sail round-trip from Venice on seven-night cruises to Greece and Croatia. From Barcelona, Allure of the


Seas will sail seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises with calls in Italian ports. Round-trip sailings from Rome are also available. Vision of the Seas will sail eight- night Western Mediterranean cruises in summer and five-night sailings in autumn to the French Riviera, Sardinia and Sicily. Voyager of the Seas will embark

on its inaugural Northern Europe season, offering seven, 10 and 11-night Baltic Sea cruises round- trip from Copenhagen in May, June and August – and from Stockholm in July.
