Star Clippers plans two Med fam trips for ‘loyal’ agents

Harry Kemble

Star Clippers has outlined fam trip plans for 2022 and introduced a cruise-and-stay itinerary for golf’s Ryder Cup. The tall-ship line has

identified two opportunities in its Mediterranean programme this summer for fam trips. The sailings on Star Clipper,

departing on June 25 and June 29, will include visits to Rome, the Amalfi Coast and Sicily. Fay McCormack, Star Clippers’

UK general manager, said the three-ship line would invite “loyal” trade partners on board. “We continue to look at

opportunities where we may be able to offer fam trips,” McCormack said. “We’re committed to taking the trade on ships.” Star Clipper will offer a mix of

sailings this year out of Piraeus, Greece; Civitavecchia, Italy; Malaga, Spain; and Cannes, France, before repositioning to Costa Rica in November.

rewarding loyal agents, and to introducing new agents to the brand

McCormack added: “We’re

committed to rewarding our loyal agents, but we’re also committed to introducing new agents to the brand. That is the way to promote a brand like ours confidently.” The line has created an itinerary

based around the 2023 Ryder Cup golf tournament, which is due to take place in Italy. Prices for the 10-night Ryder

Cup and Amalfi & Sicily itinerary, departing on September 27, 2023, start from £4,939. Ports of call include Lipari, Messina, Amalfi, and Sorrento, all Italy. Return flights, three nights at

the Marcella Royal Hotel in Rome, and a ticket to the first day of the tournament are included. starclippers.co.uk

I hope the New Year is going well and everyone is seeing a growth in sales – and more importantly, is staying well!

We recently launched our new ‘This is Your Moment’ brand campaign. It is designed to engage discerning travellers – those passionate about extraordinary destinations – at an opportune ‘moment’ in their lives.

“Seabourn Moments” – the personal, often-unexpected delights that distinguish Seabourn from other forms of luxury travel – have become a recognised part of our cruises. ‘This is Your Moment’ highlights these ‘surprise and delight’ experiences that our onboard team members are proud to deliver to our guests.

Whether your clients prefer to relax on remote beachfronts, explore whitewashed villages, paddle kayaks toward icebergs in Antarctica or marvel at the stunning beauty of Norwegian fjords, they are sure to find their ‘Moments’ with Seabourn.

Without our ‘Seabourn Moments’ – and the special moments that you, our valued partners deliver to our guests before and after their holidays – the Seabourn brand just wouldn’t be the same!

Thank you. If you would like to share any of these special moments with me, we have some lovely Seabourn Molton Brown to give away to the top 10…please email me: lynn.narraway@ seabourn.co.uk
