A-Rosa scheme taps into locals’ knowledge
A-Rosa has unveiled an initiative called Destination Scouts on Rhine and Danube sailings that aims to make voyages more “authentic and immersive”. The scouts share local knowledge on their given city with A-Rosa’s onboard excursion expert, who passes the advice on to guests. In some cases, the scouts come on board to engage with passengers.

CroisiEurope adds barge cruise in France
CroisiEurope has launched a hotel barge cruise through France’s Oise Valley. The six-night sailings depart Pont-l’Évêque and end in Paris. Sailings will operate between May and October this year and next on board 22-passenger vessel Raymonde. Prices start at £2,640, including meals, drinks and excursions.

The highest tides in the world are just the start when it comes to natural phenomena in New Brunswick
