Touromo features new tours in first winter brochure

Hey everyone,

I mentioned last time that work is under way to build a new state-of-the-art security hall here at BHX. Let me give you a bit more detail.

State-of-the-art security hall

New coach holidays brand Touromo has released its first autumn and winter programme. The brochure from the

National Express Group offshoot includes more than 150 holidays and short breaks to 20 destinations, with prices starting at £159. Ten tours have been added

for winter 2023-24 in addition to a range of Christmas and New Year-themed breaks. Departure regions include

Our next-generation security screening area is on course for completion by June 2024, in line with the UK government’s deadline. The new scanning equipment we’re installing will be far more efficient. We’ll be able to process customers more quickly, especially at peak times. And . . . you’ll no longer have to remove liquids and laptops from hand luggage. Hallelujah!

the southern counties, Kent, the West and East Midlands, Milton Keynes and Gloucestershire. Head of leisure Helen Smyth

said accommodation ranges from two-star properties to luxurious five-star hotels.

“Our new Touromo brochure

is a great tool for agents looking to capture sales for next autumn and winter,” she added. A new eight-day tour to the

Menton Lemon Festival on the French Riviera departs on February 22, 2024. It costs £1,339 and includes

coach travel, seven nights’ half-board accommodation and entrance to the festival. touromo.com

Jet2 widens range of winter breaks to Vienna, Prague and Krakow

Between now and then, existing air travel rules still apply in our existing security screening area. We will keep customers moving through BHX while construction takes place – rather like a sports stadium continuing to stage fixtures while relaying the pitch.

Customers flying from BHX this summer can expect different walking routes and may end up queuing in new areas. But fear not, our friendly staff will be on hand to help, and our signage will be continually updated. Trust me, it’ll all be worth it.

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have expanded their winter portfolio with the addition of extra services to Vienna, Prague and Krakow. Birmingham airport will gain

up to two weekly services to Vienna between November 10 and April 29, 2024. Meanwhile, up to two

weekly services will be added Vienna

to the Manchester-Vienna route from September 29 to May 20, 2024. The city was previously available only as a Christmas market destination. From East Midlands airport,

the sister brands have lined up extra services to Prague and Krakow, with the routes extended across the whole of winter. More Christmas markets

options for winter 2023 have been added from Edinburgh to Prague. A three-night Jet2CityBreaks

holiday at the three-star Ibis Wien Mariahilf in Vienna, on a B&B basis, departing from Birmingham on January 2, 2024, costs £429, based on two sharing. The price includes transfers and a £50 discount available until May 15. trade.jet2holidays.com
