CONTRACTS SUPERVISOR


A key position within the UK’s No. 1 specialist in travel to Latin America, the Contract Supervisor will coordinate the small team of Contracts Assistants within the company’s Product Department to ensure the business portfolio is available, accurate and accessible to allow sales.


The Contracts Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the team’s management and loading of rates related information into Journey Latin America’s reservations system (Travel Studio); and the effective provision of rates-related support to help meet the sales, marketing and product needs of the business.


Key responsibilities include:


• Supervising Contracts team • Contracts management & loading • Training and project leadership • Business and commercial support


Experience & skills required:


A successful track-record in rates management within the travel industry, with positive commercial relationships with a range of suppliers. Should be organised, numerate, customer-focussed, with keen attention to detail and a desire to seek solutions and improve efficiencies within the team. Alongside excellent communication skills, experience with reservations and web systems is essential. Educated to degree level and travel experience in Latin America an advantage.

Product Cruise Executive

Summary of the role


In this role you will sit as part of the Cruise Club team and some of the main responsibilities will be to: • Manage the product offering for an allocated portfolio of cruise lines • Manage relevant cruise packages


• Conduct competitor analysis and reporting on product sales • Responsible for delivery and repackaging of a range of product • Create innovative market leading cruise & stay offers • Write creative for brochures and advertising copy if required • Work with cruise marketing supporting campaigns


Requirements:


• Exceptional knowledge of the Travel/Cruise industry • Cruise Industry background preferred • Commercially aware • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills • Flexible approach and team player • Knowledge of excel spreadsheets


Skills required: • A good knowledge of Cruise destinations • Creative writing experience


• Excellent organisational skills that support the rest of the team • The ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment • A determination to achieve and succeed • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and interpersona • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and some basic image editing • Able to work independently as well as part of a wider team and work across functions and departments


• Strong attention to detail and proof reading skills. • Able to take personal ownership to resolve issues
