digital and social media to communicate our strong local brand. In 2018, we’ll expand our strategy to once again include traditional media, ensuring that our positive message will reach consumers across all demographics.

The Arbella Insurance Foundation was again recognized as a leader in philanthropy, making a difference in New England and beyond. The Foundation, along with Arbella Insurance Group employees and independent agents, gave generously to local families, veterans, and the homeless as well as to those impacted by the catastrophic hurricanes in Puerto Rico and Texas. The Foundation also supported efforts to address pressing societal issues such as climate change, safe driving, and the needs of immigrants and their families. Giving $2.5 million in 2017 to more than 600 organizations, the Foundation has donated $25.5 million since 2005.

Looking ahead, we’re well positioned for growth in both our personal and commercial markets, and as always, we’ll continue to focus on strong profitability, remarkable customer service, and ease of doing business. We’ll provide a meaningful work environment that attracts and retains the best employees. We’ll deliver new products and value-added services to retain our customers and support the growth of our independent agents. And we’ll help shape the conversations that address the problems facing our communities.

Thank you for your continued support.

John F. Donohue Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer Arbella Insurance Group
