The FA Level 5 for Technical Directors has provided an insightful learning experience for me, and one which was previously not available for people occupying the roles of sporting director, technical director or director of football.


The course has certainly taken all participants out of our comfort zones and there is no better way to learn.


On a personal note I have gained a huge amount from the relationships that I have built with other participants and my leadership mentor and I will continue to seek advice beyond graduation.


For too long we have claimed that football is an industry like no other. However this course clearly demonstrates that there are important learnings to be taken from other sectors that can improve our game.
