Regular verbs that end in –ir are called ir verbs. To use an –ir verb in the present tense, you need to do the following:
1. Knock the –ir off the end of the verb: finir 2. Now you have the stem: fin– 3. Add the correct ending for the subject pronoun, as shown in the table below.
