AI software firm IntelliAM acquires Scotland lubrication business

UK AI software firm IntelliAM AI plc has acquired the business and assets of Scotland-based RBM Lubrications & Monitoring Solutions Ltd (RBM Lubrications), strengthening its operational capabilities and presence in the central belt of Scotland.

The acquisition, which completed on 1 April 2026, formalises a long-standing relationship between the two businesses, which have worked together as part of the supply chain for more than seven years.

As part of the deal, seven RBM Lubrications employees have transferred to IntelliAM alongside engineering assets and vehicles, bringing additional experience and capability to the business. RBM Lubrications Founder Brian Sarginson has also joined as Vice President of IntelliAM Scotland.

The acquisition represents an important step in expanding deployment of IntelliAM’s technology across Scotland’s manufacturing and engineering sector. The transaction also allows IntelliAM to enhance service delivery, optimise resource utilisation, and support sustainable growth.
