Keeping a close eye on base oils
Base Oils, and their smooth supply, underpin the entire industry. Changes in refinery output, feedstock availability, or global trade flows can quickly ripple through pricing, availability, and planning. Recent developments in the Strait of Hormuz have underlined just how sensitive this part of the market is to broader energy and geopolitical factors.
Our conference keynote session Turbulent Times: Navigating the Future of the Base Oils Market” delivered by Dr. Paul Kerwin (Brenntag Lubricants) will address these issues, and explore... • The cumulative impact of recent market disruptions • Emerging trends in global supply and demand • How geopolitical developments are influencing commercial decisions
• Key risks to monitor and potential areas of opportunity
Dr. Paul Kerwin Mattia Adani
Dr. Kerwin has over 30 years’ experience in the oil and chemicals industry; working as a research scientist with Ciba (now BASF) before moving into European sales in the lubricant additives division. He has worked as European business manager with Lubrizol (automotive) and Sales Director for SK Europe before joining Brenntag and taking on the role of Base Oils & Specialties Director.
The discussion will then broaden in our Morning Executive
