Senior Managing Editor Vintage, PRH
London We’re recruiting a Senior Managing Editor to play a key part in turning manuscripts into
finished books. This is a new role within a recently established team, so you will have the opportunity to shape processes and implement new and effective ways of doing things. You will oversee some of our most complex books,
from our most high-profile authors, through all aspects of the editing and publishing process. This will include liaising with authors, freelance copy-editors, proofreaders and indexers ensuring the process is carried out to a high standard, and copy-editing and proofreading all jackets and covers and marketing material to the highest standard. You will also help lead on the standardisation of editorial processes and developing and implementing new house styles and text template design. This is a great opportunity for an existing Managing
Editor who has impeccable attention to detail, a sound knowledge of grammar, and an exceptional proofreading ability. You will have experience of desk and copy-editing, and of working on non-fiction books. If this sounds like you, please apply with a CV and
