Introducing... The Black Agents & Editors’ Group
The Black Agents & Editors’ Group (BAE) was founded by Marianne Tatepo, commissioning editor at Ebury, in June 2020. It is a community for agents and editors of African descent working in UK book publishing. BAE also runs a mentoring programme for Black people interested in finding out more about the book world. This is a chance to discuss all things publishing: from how to apply for a publishing job, to what it means to be an agent or editor, and how books are made. Here we find out more about featured members’ publishing interests.
