Setting up your own kitchen franchise

In the third and final part of the series, we hone in on what benefits and support are available to your new Kütchenhaus showroom

L

ast month we looked at how your showroom is set-up and some of the benefits offered by Kütchenhaus before opening your doors. This month we focus on the continued support that is provided once your franchise business is up and running.

It’s a partnership

First and foremost, as the business owner you’re in partnership with Kütchenhaus. This means you won’t be dictated to or told what to do. Yes, there are guidelines for all Kütchenhaus showrooms but there’s a lot of fl exibility, too.

For example, if you need to sell a kitchen for less in order to close a deal, this can be agreed. You can set your own margins and even though you must display Nobilia furniture, you can sell and partner with any appliance brand you see as the right fi t for your business. In short, you are free to run your showroom independently.

Continued support

The value that Kütchenhaus places on the partnership is manifested in the way it supports its franchise owners. Marketing support is one of the best examples of this. Let’s look at one of the optional partners, Miele. The appliance brand might run a national promotion with Kütchenhaus due to the strength of the franchise network and this can generate a huge number of enquiries. Franchise partners also receive leads from the Kütchenhaus website, and from the group’s advertising online, in magazines, and at national events. The Kütchenhaus network is a source of marketing inspiration, too. Successful campaigns that worked well for one store, can be replicated and shared with

other showrooms in the network. To make things easier for its franchise owners, Kütchenhaus has an online portal where anything from showroom stationery to uniforms can be ordered. It isn’t just marketing where you can see the

benefi ts of being a Kütchenhaus franchise owner. Training is available if you feel your sales team could up its conversion rates a little. Or maybe you need support with accountancy because you’re selling lots of kitchens, but think you might be able to make more from each sale. This level of support is available to all franchise owners in the network. Now let’s be honest, none of us are perfect and we’re all capable of making mistakes. That’s why every kitchen design you or your team puts together goes through the Kütchenhaus technical department back at headquarters, so you don’t have to worry about forgetting anything or having any irreversible mishaps down the line. But the greatest benefi t of all? Every working day you can rely on a support network of other experienced and successful franchise owners. And that is why Kütchenhaus has become one of the fastest growing kitchen companies in the UK.

The first year’s trading of our Walsall showroom went so well that we decided to look at another store in Sutton Coldfield. With support from the Kütchenhaus team, we had the keys to our second business within 12 months of opening our first
