A Grade II listed 18th- century property in Chew Valley underwent a sensitive transformation to balance historic charm with modern, and very busy, family life. With a budget of £12,000, the design delivers a spa-like ambience featuring a slipper bathtub positioned for valley views, a functional shower with brass accents, and discreet storage repurposed from a tall airing cupboard.


A widow in her 70s, living with scoliosis and a lower-limb amputation, sought a beautiful, accessible bathroom that avoided a clinical look and feel.
