The clients, a retired couple in their mid-60s, had a tight budget after overspending on their large seven-bedroom house. Although unsure of the exact design, they wanted something unique. Dan suggested cladding the tall units in larch and adding hidden doors for a fl oating effect. Given the large island space, he created a multi-level design using two materials for visual impact.
The clients sought a natural, organic kitchen design creating a seamless, harmonious space that integrated effortlessly with their home’s open-plan layout.
