REBTECH Receives STC for Medical Infusion Pump Mount
As part of an ongoing expan sion of product offerings, REB Technologies, Inc. (REBTECH) has received an FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the installation of an intravenous (IV) medical pump mounting system. The mount can accommodate up to three SPACE Infusion Pumps manu factured by the global medical products company, B. Braun Medical, Inc., and applies to the 206A/B, 206L, and 407 series helicopters. The SPACE IV pump is widely used during

medical patient transport and features a compact and light weight design for easy trans port and flexibility. The mod ern pump also contains a com prehensive internal drug dosage library with integrated safety features to mitigate incorrect infusion delivery rates.
During the design and devel opment phase of the project, Portlock Aviation, LLC and company owner, Jim Kettles, provided air medical consulta tion and guidance to REBTECH while representing B. Braun on the project. The mounting sys tem was developed with a uni versal design that can easily accommodate additional air plane and helicopter model types using the initial STC basis. Military specifications were also taken into considera tion for potential military fixed and rotary wing aircraft appli cations. Each mount allows for

REBTECH and partner Night Flight Concepts recently com pleted modifications of two Estonian Air Force helicopters for NVIS systems. Estonia is located in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. The Õhuvägi (Estonian Air Force) is the main
arm of the Estonian aviation forces and is tasked with politi cal, military, economic, social, environmental and psychologi cal threats which have Night Vision Imaging Systems playing an important role in meeting its mission.
The modern day Estonian Air Force was established in 1991 after restoration of Estonia’s independence. The helicopter division consists of four R44 aircraft used primarily for Surveillance and Search Air Rescue.
Night Flight Concepts is a night vision technology provider to REBTECH specializ ing in night vision goggle pilot and crewmember flight train ing, NVG service & mainte nance repair, NVG mainte nance technician training, and night vision program support.
