Walter A Danker III, Ph.D. is a Sr. Director, Global Health Economics & Market Access for J&J MedTech Surgery. He holds a Ph.D in Neuropharmacology and a Masters in Health Policy. He has over 25 years of experience with Johnson & Johnson, with the last 10 years focused on researching the burden of surgical complications and the cost effectiveness of a range of medical devices including adjunctive haemostats.


Gerard Llanos, Ph.D. is a Research Fellow in the Ethicon Surgical Technologies R&D group at J&J MedTech. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto. He has more than 32 years of experience in medical device R&D, developing and commercialising products ranging from ophthalmic implants, cardiovascular implants to advanced hemostats for addressing surgical site bleeding.
