Life Science Innovators to Join UK Government at MEDICA

The Optima View laryngoscope system provides crystal clear colour correct output using a high resolution, wide angled camera. The unique, 3.75” LCD display rotates 180 degrees and tilts 110 degrees, allowing for easy viewing and an opportunity for convenient teaching with multiple viewers. Along with HDMI connectivity and a quick data transfer via USB, Timesco’s video laryngoscope is available as a reusable or single-use system to allow for user preference and enables better airway management. The sterile, single-use blade simply slides and clips on to the optima view system and the reusable blades are available in a wide range of Macintosh & Miller patterns and sizes.
Armstrong Medical (part of Eakin Healthcare) is a specialist manufacturer of high-quality,
innovative, respiratory care products for use in critical care, neonatal and perioperative sectors. Founded 38 years’ ago, the company designs, moulds and assembles medical equipment and consumables in Coleraine, Northern Ireland and exports them to more than 60 countries. The company’s dual therapy gas flow driver, AquaVENT FD140i will be showcased at Medica, demonstrating how one device can deliver safe and effective CPAP and High Flow Oxygen Therapy in a controlled and straightforward manner. With only one device needed, the transition between the two therapies is simplified with minimum disruption to the patient. Other featured products include the
company’s premium ventilator circuits for adult and neonatal patients. Designed with vapour-permeable expiratory limbs, AquaVENT VT and NeoFlow VT remain dry for the duration of the therapy, intuitively managing moisture throughout the system.
