Infection prevention
Pressure Controller and Automatic Subglottic Secretion Removal Device have proven to be valuable tools in reducing VAP rates. Their implementation can lead to improved patient outcomes, reduced hospital stays, and considerable economic benefits for healthcare systems. Future research should focus on comparing the effectiveness of the Automatic Cuff Pressure Controller and the Automatic Subglottic Secretion Removal Device independently and in combination. Such studies could provide deeper insights into the optimal use of these devices and help refine intervention strategies for mechanically ventilated patients.
Conclusion This study stresses the critical impact of targeted interventions in managing VAP among mechanically ventilated patients. The significant reduction in VAP rates and the associated cost savings support the widespread adoption of the Automatic Cuff Pressure Controller and Automatic Subglottic Secretion Removal Device in critical care settings.
