IHEEM has established strong partnerships with


educational institutions. By collaborating with universities and other educational bodies, we can support the development of future healthcare engineers and estate managers. We are looking to contribute to curriculum development, provide mentorship programmes, and offer scholarships to attract and develop talent. This collaboration will ensure a pipeline of competent professionals who can drive the future of healthcare delivery. In July ’23 we launched the new IHEEM


Mechanical Technical Platform at the Authorising Engineers Conference in Epsom. This platform aims to encompass additional engineering services


that aren’t supported by the other specialist Technical and Advisory Platforms. In addition to our extensive programme of


national and regional events, we are also looking to provide further coverage of Digital and AI- driven solutions, as well as EBME services. Embracing the future of healthcare delivery is


paramount to the success and relevance of the institute. By focusing on innovation, CPD, interdisciplinary collaboration, advocacy, thought leadership, educational partnerships, and international engagement, IHEEM can ensure it aligns with the evolving healthcare landscape. This handbook aims to help you get the most
