meet the following requirements: lHold an NVQ2 (or equivalent) and/or have served an indentured apprenticeship and/or hold an equivalent membership with another relevant Professional Body and have one year’s relevant experience, and demonstrate appropriate competencies, which will be established from your job description and CV.


OR lHave one year’s relevant healthcare experience, and demonstrate appropriate competencies, which will be established from your job description and CV.


Graduate Graduate Members of the Institute are engineers and technical staff on an approved training course or IPD scheme. Those in membership at this grade are entitled to use the designatory letters GIHEEM. To be elected as a Graduate you must meet


the following requirements: lWhile in full -time employment, be studying for an engineering or related qualification, or be a new graduate on an IPD scheme.


Skilled Person Skilled persons currently employed within a Healthcare Facilities organisation may apply to become Skilled Person Affiliate members, and take advantage of the full range of educational and networking events available. IHEEM invites applications for Skilled Person


Affiliate Membership from all skilled persons currently employed within a healthcare facilities organisation.


This grade of membership does not grant


the use of professional post-nominals, but members will be able to state that they are “A Skilled Person Affiliate Member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management”. There is no application fee for Skilled Person


membership. *It is important to note that the above grades are awarded based upon the information provided in your membership application
