October 2018 saw the IFHE Latin America Regional Group get together in Brisbane, Australia during the Federation’s 25th Congress at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

n Each Group will function continuously, and each Group coordinator will produce a biannual report on the work carried out to be distributed to national associations.
n Each of the 12 groups that make up the Thematic Network will be able to propose and present new themes and approaches to other Groups related to its main work.
n Interconnection between groups will be freely encouraged, and indeed will play a key part in building up collective knowledge.
Methodology
To identify and define the activities to be focused upon by the Working Groups, each Association will nominate a representative to participate and be the link between the Group’s activities and their respective country. This, however, should not prevent other participants from the same country from undertaking the activities of that Group.
Key procedures will be as follows:
n Each national association will nominate one member for each Network Group.
n Each Group will be composed of one member from each national association,
