Irish rugby legend to speak at Croke Park event

The IHEEM 2022 joint Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland Conference, Exhibition, and Awards Dinner, taking place at Croke Park in Dublin this month, is expected to be attended by over 300 delegates from the healthcare engineering and estates sector, and is a CPD-accredited event. Tickets are still available for ‘Delivering

Sustainable Healthcare Estates’, which is being held from 16-17 May at one of Dublin’s most famous sporting venues in association with the Carbon and Energy Fund and SDCL. IHEEM says the event will give attendees the chance to ‘Keep Informed and Get Ahead on the issues that have the greatest impact on you and your organisations, now and in the future’. The two-day event will also incorporate

an exhibition featuring 40 companies showcasing products, services, and equipment targeted at the healthcare EFM sector, a charity auction led by IHEEM’s Northern Ireland Branch, and a Dinner and Awards ceremony, at which the guest speaker will be Gordon D’Arcy (pictured), the retired Irish rugby player, who played most of his career at inside centre. He played for Irish provincial side, Leinster, for his entire professional career, is second on the record list for most Leinster appearances at 257, behind Devon Toner, and is third on the all-time Leinster try list, with 60. He retired from rugby in 2015, having won three Heineken Cups, a Challenge Cup, and four league titles with Leinster, two Six Nations titles with Ireland – including a Grand Slam in 2009, and travelled on two British & Irish Lions tours. Speakers at the conference will include:
