Launch of new Digital AE audit tool
In partnership with leading healthcare provider, Quiqsolutions, IHEEM has launched exciting new software to enable Authorising Engineers (AEs) across multiple technical areas to complete their audits digitally. All IHEEM-registered AEs will be given
free and exclusive access to use the system and its unique content. Based on the proven Quiqcare platform, the software includes three elements: 1 Pre-audit questionnaires. 2 AE Audit templates. 3 HTM self-assessment templates.
Working with EFM teams, AEs will be able to request information in advance of their audits to build a picture of the key personnel and operations at Trust sites they are working with. They will then be able to complete their audit using pre- defined audit templates, with content maintained and underwritten by IHEEM’s technical committees. Once the audit is
complete, a report is shared with the Trust advising on remedial actions required. Trusts can then use the platform for ongoing self-assessment against the HTMs and other technical standards, and to create action plans to ensure that any necessary improvements are captured and embedded. This can be used as a standalone solution, or in conjunction with the Quiqcare PAM software, providing additional evidence when completing PAM submissions. IHEEM said: “This represents a major new development in the auditing and future compliance within EFM, with plans to increase the scope into many other operational areas.” For more information, please contact IHEEM, or Paul Kaye at Quiqsolutions at:
paulkaye@quiqsolutions.com. IHEEM CEO, Pete Sellars, said: “I am immensely proud of this new governance toolkit that we have produced with Quiqsolutions. It is the culmination of a lot of hard work and significant input by many of our Platform and branch members. I want to thank everyone who contributed their time and expertise, and especially the late Graham Stanton, Chair of the IHEEM Decontamination Registration Board, who was heavily involved in its development from the start, sharing his extensive technical knowledge and experience as an AE. I hope all who use the software find it of value, and – as always – I welcome any feedback.”
At the accompanying exhibition, delegates will have the opportunity to engage with leading industry experts from companies including Clarke Energy, Evaccess, Hevac, IES, IRRIS, Kohler Mira, Mavin Group, Pharmafilter, RSK, Shire Controls, SHJ Medical, Vistamatic, and Anti-Ligature Shop. Network with these innovative organisations to discover cutting-edge solutions and technologies in healthcare and education estate management. The event organisers said: “This
conference is a valuable opportunity for professionals from healthcare and higher education estates and facilities across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to connect, learn, and drive innovation together.” Public sector professionals can register for free.
