First keynote speakers announced for 2024 Healthcare Estates Conference


IHEEM says it is delighted to have secured three leading figures in UK healthcare engineering as Keynote speakers for the 2024 Healthcare Estates Conference. The Conference, which will take place alongside an accompanying exhibition at Manchester Central from 8-9 October this year, delivers a broad programme of content, providing IHEEM members and other healthcare engineering and estates and facilities management professionals with essential information for overcoming challenges associated with delivering patient-centred environments in the public and private sectors. IHEEM has secured three pre-eminent


experts to deliver the Keynote session on Medical Engineering & Healthcare Engineering, one of five themes covered at this year’s Conference. Caroline Finlay is co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at MTS Health, a leading specialist in equipment advisory services. MTS Health has developed an audit tool that specifically addresses the MHRA Managing Medical Devices guidance, and also identifies service transformation, and opportunities and methods for achieving cost and service efficiencies and improvement not covered by any guidance.


Expert in healthcare technology management Dr John Sandham is recognised as an expert in the field of healthcare technology management, having written over 300 published educational articles. He has been instrumental in changing device management policies and processes at many NHS and private healthcare organisations, and has a proven track record in delivering improvements that advance regulatory compliance and patient care.
