Engineering Facilities Manager Isle of Man Government
About the role
The Department of Infrastructure is looking for an experienced Engineer with mechanical and healthcare bias to work within a healthcare environment including Acute Hospital setting. The role provides an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to work with the Facilities Management team based within the Public Estates and Housing Division.
In addition to the normal range of mechanical plant and equipment, you will be responsible for the management of key equipment and services including sterilisation and decontamination equipment, Medical Gases, Pressure systems, Ventilation and Water systems. Other key responsibilities include being the nominated officer for the Management of Authorised person duties, implementing planning and control measures and acting as a point of contact for advice, support and guidance in decision making.
