Annual awards a chance to shine among industry peers

IHEEM’s flagship annual Conference, Exhibition, and Awards for 2025 take place on 21-22 October at Manchester Central, and will once again act as an invaluable event for professionals involved in the funding, design, building, management, and maintenance, of healthcare facilities. Bookings are now open on the event website, as are entries for the 2025 Healthcare Estates Awards (more details on both below). The overarching conference theme for this year’s Healthcare Estates is ‘Prevention Is Better Than Cure’ – a theme that will resonate deeply within the healthcare sector. IHEEM said: “With the next 10 years set to see unprecedented investment in the NHS, it is more important than ever that healthcare professionals from the NHS, government, industry, and academia, come together to share lessons learned and build collective understanding of how we deliver a world-class healthcare service for patients. “Across its extensive

programme of content – which can be used to record CPD hours – and its comprehensive exhibition, Healthcare Estates 2025 will provide an invaluable opportunity to share knowledge and gather the ideas, information, and answers, to navigate the evolving healthcare landscape.”

Conference attendance “Attending the Conference gives an unparallelled opportunity to engage and interact with healthcare leaders, experts, and fellow estates management professionals,” IHEEM explained. “It is an efficient way to engage with key issues, enhance

knowledge, and earn CPD points.” As well as access to the Keynote programme and the option to attend sessions in the Exhibition Theatres, conference delegates benefit from exclusive access to a broad programme of authoritative content – including presentations, panels, and interactive workshops. Engaging in the programme provides the opportunity to gather insights and information, and to interact with speakers and fellow attendees to share knowledge and experience.

The conference programme will cover a diverse range of estate management and engineering related topics. Key themes for 2025 are:

n Strategic Health and Social Care Planning.

n Governance, Assurance and Compliance.
