Computer simulation specialist Altair is taking a major step into plastics moulding simulation with the launch of Inspire Mold. It will be competing with established injection moulding simulation systems such as Moldflow (owned by Autodesk) and Moldex3D (owned by CoreTech System). James Dagg, Chief
