Public (listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange) RMB1,320 million (around US$182m)

Guangdong Decro, founded in 1999, is a specialist in BOPP and BOPE film, as well as functional masterbatches. It offers more than 100 types of BOPP and BOPE film, which are widely used for printing and laminating, labelling, food packaging and other applications.

Product lines:

The company offers a variety of BOPP and BOPE products. In BOPP, it has six separate divisions. These cover heat sealable packaging, labelling, laminating, electronic product protection, holographics, and custom products. As an example, its heat-sealable packaging is suitable for fin and lap sealing in mono and multi- layer structures for applications such as fresh vegetables and sushi. Its co-extruded thermal BOPP film recently won an award as an environmentally friendly packaging material for milk boxes. Its BOPE films are used to create mono-material packaging that is easier to recycle.

Factory locations:

The company has three manufacturing plants occupying over 187,000 square meters. It currently operates seven BOPP film production lines, as well as two functional coating lines (plus 11 twin-screw extruders for masterbatch production). In addition, it has seven laboratories for researching functional films and materials. Guangdong Decro recently installed two Monoslit 9000 slitter rewinders from Goebel IMS on a high-speed BOPP film production line.
