Color Pigment Malaysia claims to be Malaysia’s largest producer of masterbatches offering a range of colour, white, black, filler and additive products. At Chinaplas 2015 it is highlighting a range of additives, masterbatches and pigments. Colloids, the UK-headquartered masterbatch maker, has recently opened a production plant in Chang- shu, China with a capacity of 6,000 tonnes/year. It is exhibiting at Chinaplas for the first time, showcas- ing a range of products, including its Pace range of engineering polymer specific masterbatches. It offers optimised black masterbatches for PET, PBT, PC, ABS, PC/ABS, PA 6 and PA 6.6. The Pace range also includes grades to modify and improve the

Croda Polymer Additives is introducing its new Incromold K additive for improving the surface appear- ance of moulded parts for the automotive industry. According to the company, Incromold K eases the release of mouldings while improving anti-scratch performance, reducing both scratch width and the appearance of whitening. Dongguan Jinzhen Plastic Masterbatch is using Chinaplas to highlight its masterbatch range, which includes black, white and colour products. Carbon black masterbatches are its biggest sellers and are claimed to deliver excellent levels of dispersion, heat resistance and tinting strength. Gemme Specialty Chemicals is showing its new filler masterbatches based on barium sulphate with a particle size of less than 100 nm. It says that they deliver a range of benefits including high transparency, good dispers- ability and increased mechanical properties. Target applications include polyethylene blown film, injection mouldings and non-woven fabrics.
