savings, increased uptime, and advanced process control, empowering our customers to improve their performance and ROI.” A highlight of the display was the Gen 4 Ultra

Vacuum Dryer which introduced a streamlined touchscreen interface and expanded portfolio. New variants Ultra 150E, 300E, and 300+ extend throughputs to 165, 285, and 440 lb/hr (75-200 kg/ hr), filling critical capacity gaps for PET and extrusion applications. All Ultra models feature Maguire’s 15-minute Pit Stop material changeover capability, slashing downtime from hours to minutes and delivering average energy savings of 60% against desiccant dryers. Maguire also highlighted the new WSB 280MP,

its first gravimetric blender, featuring eight removable hoppers that offer rapid changeovers, easier cleaning, and added dosing flexibility. At the core of Maguire’s integration strategy is Fusion, an advanced control platform that unites blenders, feeders, conveying, and extrusion control, within a single, intuitive touchscreen interface. At K 2025 Fusion was displayed with live conveying and extrusion control, demonstrating how a single controller streamlines operations and reduces scrap. The system featured a WSB 140 MP blender, MGF+2 feeders, FlexBus Lite conveying controls, Clear-Vu receivers, and real-time extrusion stabilisation, delivering a “total-control” experience for processors seeking greater automation, material traceability, and equipment performance data. Moretto presented several innovations at the same event including the gravimetric batch blender DGM Gravix 50, the dryer X Comb 19, the manual manifold with wireless control, and OW6, the centralised system management server. The DGM Gravix 50 extends the range of the gravimetric batch blenders specifically designed

for the micro-dosing of plastic materials. Thanks to SMD electronic control, the digital technology increases the performance of the self-adjustment algorithms. Additionally, the weighing system performs high-speed sampling, ensuring that data is processed through self-learning functions. A unique feature is the double eyelid device, which has a reaction time of only 25 ms to ensure accurate dosing. The range of X Comb mini dryers is also

expanding with the new XC19 model, which is suitable for processing techno polymers and productions of up to 60 kg/hr. Boasting an innovative design, the XC19 enhances the construction, technology, and performance of the X Comb series. Distinctive features include Honeycomb technology in 100% Zeolite with superior absorbent capacity, exclusive OTX hopper, and Hyper Flow turbo compressors, with variable flow which guarantee a consistent process and high energy efficiency. Late last year, Conair unveiled the new PowerFill

New Insight compounds for conveyor parts

US compounder Insight Polymers offers two new PFAS-free wear and friction products described as “excellent” for materials handling applications. “Our PFAS-free PPS compound with 30% carbon fibre works well for manufacturers looking to manage risk in an evolving regulatory landscape,” said AJ Pasquale, Insight Polymers Co-founder and Director of Opera- tions. “It performs comparably to PTFE-containing compounds while

complying with current and antici- pated PFAS restrictions.” The new materials complement

Insight Polymers’ PTFE-containing compound, ZAFC06 LF PPS, with 30% carbon fibre and 15% PTFE. “The Insight PPS PFAS-free wear and friction compound offers the necessary properties for such materials handling applications as bearings and bushings, conveyor wear strips and plates, seals, gears, and cams,” said Matt Torosian, Insight

Polymers sales and market development manager, adding that the company is currently working with customers which are Tier 1 automotive suppliers.

Insight also recently developed

PFAS-Free Nylon 66 Wear & Friction compound, a high-performance engineering thermoplastic designed for applications requiring low friction, high wear resistance, and material selection in compliance with PFAS regulations.
