It integrates seamlessly with standard thermoplas- tics and offers tunability for optimised performance, enabling thinner wall designs that support greater design flexibility and device miniaturisation.


Acquisitions Plastic Ingenuity is expanding into Europe with the acquisi- tion of Spezi-Pack. Plastic Ingenuity, based in Madison, Wisconsin, US, says the move enables it to offer regional manufacturing for medical device and pharmaceutical packaging and plans to significantly increase capacity at the facility near Dresden, Germany by the first quarter of 2027. In another corporate takeover,MGS, a global healthcare manufacturer, has acquired Knudsen Plast, an injection moulder with operations in Denmark and Slovakia. The acquisition enhances MGS’ ability to support customers with expanded cleanroom capacity, deep injection moulding expertise, and greater proximity to fast-growing regional supply chains. “This acquisition is beneficial for both MGS and Knudsen Plast customers,” said Paul Manley, President and CEO of MGS. “MGS benefits from Knudsen Plast’s highly respected technical expertise, strong quality systems, and a commitment to delivering innovations that improve lives.
