Fendt improves its Rogator sprayer

7 more precision farming products and kit upgrades

In our regular new products section, our editorial team uncover 7 technological developments from around the world that can help improve farm productivity.

In-cab nozzle selection and automated tank and spraying system cleaning are features of the latest-specification Rogator trailed and self-sprayers. The Rogator 300 is a 4-model line of trailed sprayers, while the Rogator 600 self-propelled extends from 3850- to 6000-li- tres capacity. In the cab, Rogator 600 opera- tors can add an optional joystick controller for functions such as rear axle steering. Changes to the ordering process allow new machines of both types to be delivered with a second set of tyres and choose from 20 dif- ferent nozzles sizes and types. Another new option is the eQuadSelect nozzle body carri- er, which permits in-cab switching between four different nozzles. With the 6000-litre tank, the self-propelled model can also have a new aluminium boom configuration with alternative outer sections that provide 24m (78ft) and 36m (118ft) working widths – in addition to 18m (59ft) when just the inner sections are deployed – to suit different tramline, crop bed or row crop spacings.
