software is intuitive. “Our router can see all of the routes for a school building, so she can make sure the scheduling of the buses is being done in the most efficient way possible.”

That app helps ensures that their mainte- nance crew is performing preventive maintenance on the buses, as required by the manufacturer. “Our mechanics use the Cummins software and the Allison transmission soft- ware to diagnose and repair the engines and transmis- sions,” he said, adding that the acquisition of the tech- nology was for safety and efficiency. “We felt the need to have


GPS on our buses, so we would know at all times where they are on the routes and have the ability to respond in times of need,” Grasty stressed. “With 122 yellow buses on the road every day, you must know where your assets are.” ●
