The safety of student transportation is taking a notable leap forward as three school divisions incorporate First Light Safety Products’ (FLSP) groundbreaking safety technologies into their bus fleets. These early adopters—Surry County Schools and Merrimack Valley School District—merit our heartfelt thanks for embracing our life-saving devices. Amy Samples and Christopher Burke concerted efforts aim to establish the use of the Illuminated School Bus Sign and Fully Illuminated Stop Arm throughout their bus operations. FLSP extols these pioneering school divisions for their dedication to amplifying safety in all new bus models from 2024 onwards. The improvements, including enhanced visibility, increased driver response time, and fewer stop arm violations, ensure a higher degree of protection for students during their bus journeys.
First Light Safety thanks Amy Samples and the Surrey County Schools team for creating a safer environment for students on and off the school bus.
“Surry County Schools is thankful to have First Light Safety illuminated destination and stop arm lights on our school buses. It has changed the visibility of our buses, especially on our morning routes. We often receive compliments regarding how great the new lights look and the difference it has in other motorists’ ability to see our school buses. First Light Safety Products provides exceptional customer service and after-the-sale care.”
