we won’t change it. Right now, we specifically aren’t in charging stations. We don’t develop those technologies and sell those technologies. Of course, we partner with people and implement them in our distribution network, and we work with our customers to find the right solution. But we decided not to try to compete with one solution in that space and [instead] be more flexible, so that cus- tomers can pick and choose what they want. And then we just work with them. But in the infrastructure, we’re very involved and active. And for us, we see a strategic growth area for the company, because we’re projecting our elec- trolyzer business to be significant in 2025 and 2030. And it’ll open up doors in energy storage and other spaces.
STN: Following up on hydrogen, specifically fuel cells,
where do you see or do you see it fitting into school bus- es? Is a potential pathway there? Or are there too many challenges?
Davis: Almost every application can benefit from
range. If I could drop a fuel cell in, and it would give me you know, 200 more kilometers or whatever, great, right? It’s just not free. And the infrastructure then doubles what the investment needs to be. I think in the bus market, school bus and transit and let’s say coach, it’s going to take time for the fuel cell solutions to make enough economic sense that they would replace batteries right now, because the battery technologies are coming down the cost curve and are really in there working. And while there are niches where you need the range, and you need other things, it’s pretty cost pro- hibitive in the early days. Flash forward to 2040, when fuel cells are more advanced and the cost comes down because we have more truck applications. Then I think, 2040, 2050, we’re going to see most applications have a combination of things.
STN: Thank you. ●
WHEN IT COMES TO SPECIAL NEEDS TRANSPORTATION, ADROIT HITS THE TARGET
SPECIALIZING IN: Special Needs Students and IEPs
McKinney-Vento, ESSA and Homeless It's important to have a passionate and dedicated approach when serving
students with special needs. By matching students with appropriate drivers based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), we are ensuring that they receive the support and assistance they require.
Additionally, we provide transportation for McKinney-Vento and homeless
students, regardless of their district residency. By offering special transportation services, we aim to help remove barriers that may otherwise prevent these students from attending school regularly.
