understand these truths: Art is an important part of society. Art enriches the soul. Art brings us together. “Ar t

expresses who we are as people,”

explained Mike Groscost, senior art consultant at Exclusive Collections Galleries at the Forum Shops in Las Vegas. “It expresses what we, as a culture, have become.” It’s breathtaking to view an ar twork by oneself experience

personal reaction, especially

when it moves the soul or speaks to the hear t. It can be life altering. “When I meet someone and they fall in love with

a painting, sometimes they are in tears,” painter Steven Quar tly

explained. “That’s the kind of

emotion art can inspire.” Another phenomenon of the art experience is the

reaction of multiple humans to visual creations. It’s a privilege to experience such a viewing in a group — to be par t of

it — even if not everyone has the

same reaction. It’s all about sharing. Art can be a tool of bonding with others. Being in and around a crowd reacting to artwork is a wonder ful thing.
