WE CAN HELP! PRS staff can advise you on the following employment and professional issues:


• Children’s aid society/Criminal allegations related to employment responsibilities


• Conflict resolution


• Continuous Professional Learning program


• Difficulties with students, other staff, parents, and school administrators


• Duty to report and obligations under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act


• Employment Insurance • Ethics and professionalism • Health and safety


• Human rights/harassment/ discrimination


• Issues with the Ontario College of Teachers or the College of Early Childhood Educators


• Long-term disability • Performance appraisals • Pregnancy and parental leaves • Professional boundaries • Professional judgement


• Professional support personnel/ Education support personnel issues


• Sick leave/return to work/ accommodation issues


• Workplace Safety and Insurance Board matters
