about the fact that it would be easy to grab a bit of information from 1 video, another bit from another instructor and so on. In other words - piece meal. Like a box of miscellaneous screws. I have a box of misc. screws that I use for various things and that reminded me of what my in- structor said. It lacks harmony and coher-


ence. There isn’t an easy under- standing of how it all fits together.

Training Advice Long Ago: I got the same advice literally decades ago.


I was watching some training tapes on reining and a famous trainer said something similar. To learn a program completely from start to finish first and then if you want to incorporate other things then that’s fine. Made perfect sense to me and that piece of


advice worked well for me in my reining. Of course, it applies to life as well. My art instruc- tor was making a pitch for his training program but Hay! Why Not!
