Horse Association (OQHA) is excited to kick off the new year with a full day of cele- bration and connection. Mem- bers, exhibitors, families, and equine enthusiasts are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting and Awards Banquet, proudly hosted in collabora- tion with Area 1 and Area 2. This special event will
take place on January 24th at the Courtyard by Marriott in Burlington, and promises to be a highlight of the season. The day will begin with the AGM, scheduled to start at approximately 11:00 a.m., followed by an evening Awards Banquet recognizing outstanding achievements throughout the year. Finalized times will be shared on OQHA’s social media chan- nels as the date approaches. Tickets are now available

welcoming the community for a memorable day of cele- bration, recognition, and fel- lowship. Mark

OQHA Unveils Exciting Plans for the 2026 Show
The Ontario Quarter Season
Horse Association (OQHA) is pleased to share another excit- ing update as we look ahead
to the 2026 show season. While the calendar may look a little different from previous years, the association is em- bracing a “small but mighty” approach—one that promises quality events, great competi- tion, and memorable experi- ences for all involved. The 2026 season will fea-
ture shows proudly hosted by Area 1, Area 2, and Area 3, culminating in a Summer Fi- nale to close out the OQHA year. Events will be held across three popular loca- tions—Ancaster, Ilderton, and Thornton—and OQHA looks forward to welcoming past, present, and future members to the rail. In addition to the ap-
proved shows, the much- loved Weekend Roundup is also making its return. While not an AQHA-approved event, the Weekend Roundup
offers something for everyone and quickly became a favourite after its successful inaugural year. Based on the tremendous feedback from exhibitors
and families,
OQHA is confident that the 2026 edition will be even big- ger and better.
The Weekend Roundup
will take place July 24–26 at the stunning REACH Huron facility in Clinton, a venue known for its hospitality, amenities, and welcoming en- vironment. With a refreshed show calendar and a strong lineup
of events, OQHA is eager to bring the community together for a season full of learning, camaraderie, and great horse- manship. Mark your calen- dars—2026 is shaping up to be an unforgettable year in the ring!
